Ann Arbor Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast    

Enjoy quiet serenity at our 1842 Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast, a slice of country in the city on a tree-filled acre one mile west of Main Street in Ann Arbor. All five bedrooms (with en suite private bathrooms) are on the walk-in level with ample on-site parking.
A full, hot breakfast with fresh chopped fruit, yogurt, granola and tasty cereals is served on-site each morning. The entire farmhouse may be booked ($699/day) for reunions, girlfriend getaways, birthdays, corporate retreats, family get-togethers, and academic gatherings (daily guest room rates are below) .
The farmhouse is non smoking, air conditioned, has Wi-Fi and wired internet everywhere, and a public computer with printer connected to the internet. A flat screen HDTV/DVD, hair dryer, iron & board, and desk or table accompany each room. Additional roll-away beds and work tables can be set up at no cost.

The breakfast is prepared in the sunny country kitchen in the morning and is served buffet-style in the sunroom 8-9:30 AM (9 -10:30 AM weekends) or earlier upon advance request. Complimentary hot and cold beverages, ice, fruit, and snacks are always available.


The large cathedral-ceiling common room opens to spacious south-facing decks overlooking a wooded backyard next to a 23-acre woods with paths maintained by the city .
You may also park, grab a beverage, hang-out in the common areas, and use the restroom at our Campus House (Ann Arbor Bed and Breakfast), your downtown oasis.

Every room has an en suite private bathroom with a shower (no tub) except Island which has a half-bath (no tub or shower).
A guest refrigerator is available for personal items and leftovers.

Eclectic boutiques, many independent new and used bookstores, galleries of art and artifacts, museums including the Hands-On Museum, music venues, farms (Domino's Petting Farm), Borders flagship bookstore, the Big House, city outdoor pool, YMCA indoor pool, indoor ice rink and summer street dining are nearby - over 37 dinner quality ethnic and American dinner-class restaurants beckon in the downtown/campus area.

Kerrytown, the Farmer's Market, Zingerman's, Hollander's, and the legendary Treasure Mart consignment store are just one mile plus two blocks east.

You can ride the free non-stop #18 bus to/from the University of Michigan campus (Michigan League) eight times in the morning and ten times in the evening (weekdays) from/to the farmhouse driveway. Other times and days, there is a free local bus ( #12A, #12B) to downtown that will drop you within four blocks of campus.
Sorry, no pets. Children over 10 are welcome.

Rekindle your childhood memories of a day under the Big Top, with trapeze artists, dancing horses, and performing seals.You won't find peanut shells on the floor or have to carry water for the elephants, but you can rinse off the sawdust in the large walk-in multi-headed shower, sink into the pillow-top king size bed, and relax.Work table and DVD/HDTV are included.

Queen size bed in a small bedroom with HDTV/DVD and half-bath (no tub or shower) and a low dresser for a desk.

Island may only be booked as an annex to another guest room.
